Volwiler-Stanley, Amelia

Print & installation artist focused on trauma healing in the body, animal mythology, and biology. AVS primarily creates cyanotypes on salvaged textiles, both on a large scale and a wearable scale. Her imagery is pulled from anatomical illustrations, pressed flowers/foliage and other natural found objects, photographs she has taken in the wilds of Michigan (including spider webs).
